Argentina - Ciudadanía Española en el Exterior
Argentina
Its name is associated with the legend of the Sierra de la Plata. It is the second largest country in Latin America, located between the Andes, the Atlantic Ocean and the Antarctic continent. It has a great wealth and natural diversity: the Iguazu Falls have been chosen as one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and the Valley of the Moon is considered a World Heritage Site. South America’s second largest economy, it is a major exporter of meat and cereals as well as a producer of oil and natural gas.
Its population is the result of the miscegenation between the indigenous and emigrants who arrived from Europe between 1858 and 1950. It is considered that about 90% of its inhabitants are Eurodescendants.
This miscegenation marks its culture, where great writers, poets and composers stand out, and tango, a genre of music and dance of Argentina.
