Ecuador

Country located on the South American continental shelf and in the Galapagos Islands, adentrances in the Pacific Ocean. It has the highest concentration of rivers per km2 and is crossed from north to south by a volcanic section of the Andes mountain range counting more than 80.
It is also a country of great diversity, with 20% of its territory converted into an ecological reserve, it is the only one in the world that has in its Constitution the right to the environment.
In the cultural aspect it is one of the most traditional countries and with its best preserved culture. Among his artistic figures stands out the painter Oswaldo Guayasamín.
In Ecuador there are 59,135 Spaniards residing (data as of January 1, 2026).
