Senegal, whose official name is Republic of Senegal, is a sovereign state of West Africa whose form of government is the semi-presidential republic.
Its territory is organized into 14 regions.
Located in the most western part of the continent, on the Atlantic Ocean, at the confluence of Europe, Africa and America, Senegal has been and is a corridor of the great maritime, land and air routes.
