Switzerland
Switzerland is a landlocked country located in Central Europe, known for its neutral foreign policy as it has not actively participated in any international conflict. It is the headquarters of important International Organizations, such as the Red Cross.
Due to its policy of neutrality, the country hosts a large number of immigrants from nations of several continents, so it is considered as one of the European countries with the greatest cultural diversity.
Although it is not a member of the European Union, since 2005 it has been part of the Schengen area. In Switzerland there are 132,384 Spanish citizens, as of January 1, 2023.
