In the period 2021-2027, FAMI supports those actions aimed at achieving the following common specific objectives:
OE1, Asylum: Strengthen and develop all aspects of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS), including its external dimension.
OE2, Integration: Support legal migration to the Member States, according to their economic and social needs, and promote and contribute to the effective integration and social inclusion of third-country nationals.
OE3, Return: Contribute to the fight against irregular migration, improving effective, safe and dignified return and readmission, as well as contributing to and promoting effective initial reintegration in third countries.
OE4, Solidarity: Enhancing solidarity and the equitable sharing of responsibility between Member States, in particular those most affected by migration and asylum challenges, including through practical cooperation.
